He tunes pianos by day and plays mandolin & marimba in his spare time, he is Winnipeg's Fred Redekop. If you missed him, watch the video here!

For the last 25 years Fred Redekop hass been behind the scenes taking care of some very important pianos, and making sure they sound perfect for the stars that play them. With the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Virtuosi Concert Series, The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and more, Fred has a passion for tuning pianos and a gift that keeps him in demand, not only here in Winnipeg but across North America.

With a background as a local rock musician when he was younger, Fred took up piano tuning when his plans to become a rock star never panned out, and he has never looked back. Now, instead of fronting rock bands, he spends his spare time playing mandolin (even studying with greats like David Grisman, Mike Marshall, Chris Thile etc...) and marimba.
