No one was injured following a fire Saturday evening in the city's North End.

At 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a two-storey home in the 500 block of Ross Avenue.

At the scene, crews saw smoke coming from the home. Firefighters attacked from outside the home, declaring the fire under control quite quickly.

Everyone inside safely self-evacuated before crews arrived.

Four people were helped by the City of Winnipeg's Emergency Social Services  team to find temporary housing.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
