Classic 107 is very excited to announce a wonderful new partnership with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra that will see a brand new show on the Classic airwaves!

Tune in Sunday at 5:00 PM to welcome 60 Minutes with the WSO to the Classic 107 family of programming!

Produced by Classic 107 Program Director Claudia Garcia de la Huerta, WSO VP of Marketing Development Neil Middleton, Marketing & Communications Coordinator Sarah Panas & Artistic Operations Assiociate James Manishen, the one hour music magazine will be hosted by WSO Music Director Alexander Mickelthwate.

Every week  we'll look at different themes and trends in the Classical Music World through the members of the WSO as well as the amazing guest artists they symphony brings in! We'll also get a sneak peak of the concerts and artists coming up! This Sunday on the inaugural show, we'll hear from 15-year-old pianist Umi Garrett, violinist Tianwa Yang and local cellist 15-year-old David Liam Roberts about what it's like being a musical prodigy. We'll have music by the most famous prodigy of all - Mozart, plus music from upcoming WSO guests Quartetto Gellato. We'll get a preview and a look WSO's Mahler Fest.

Make an appointment to tune in Sunday at 5:00 PM right After Sunday Classics with Paul von Wichert (which will now start at 11:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM).
