Saturday night, The University of Winnipeg’s premier recital and chamber music series, Virtuosi will welcome the Horszowski Trio to the stage. We caught up with the ensemble's violinist. Missed it? Listen here!

Classic 107’s Claudia Garcia de la Huerta had the chance to talk with two-time Grammy-nominated violinist Jesse Mills from the trio. She reached him over the phone Thursday from their home in New York City, where they talked about the group's beginnings and the great concert pianist they named themselves after.

The Horszowski Trio will be performing Saturday night on the Virtuosi stage at the University of Winnipeg.
The programme will include Beethoven’s Piano Trio in G major, Op 1, No. 2, Shostakovich’s Piano Trio in E minor, Op 67, No. 2 and, what Jesse told Claudia, is the group's absolute favourite to perform, Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 3 in F minor, Op. 65.

The concert is Saturday night at 8PM in Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall.
