The Winnipeg Singers lead by Yuri Klaz take the stage November 7th alongside the MCO in “Thanksgiving and Remembrance” Both the Winnipeg Singers and the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra celebrate their 45th anniversary seasons with Arvo Pärt’s breathtaking Te Deum, conducted by Yuri Klaz. Additional music will include Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass and Eleanor Daley’s Requiem.

The Winnipeg Singers, Winnipeg's premiere choir, has long been regarded as on one of Canada's finest choral ensembles. The choir's mandate is to make a diversity of choral music, performed to the highest standard, accessible to a growing audience. The Winnipeg Singers consists of 24 trained voices, performing music that spans the times from the Renaissance to the present.

“Thanksgiving and Remembrance” - a joint performance with the Winnipeg Singers and MCO – takes place at Westminster United Church at 7:30 pm
