A few Manitoba highways are closed Wednesday morning as a Colorado Low continues to drop heavy snow across the Red River Valley and southeastern Manitoba.
Significant snowfall combined with strong winds has left highways in the area treacherous.
As of 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, the following highways remain closed:
- Highway 3, from Carmen to South Jct Highway 34
- Highway 3, from Cartwright to South Jct Highway 18
- Highway 13, from Carmen to Elm Creek
- Highway 14, from Highway 3 to Highway 75
- Highway 16, from Minnedosa to Highway 50
- Highway 23, from Highway 34 to Highway 336
- Highway 34, from Holland to US Border
- Highway 428, from Highway 23 to Highway 32
- Highway 432, from Highway 201 to Highway 23
