Keen eared listeners might have noticed the return of a piano to the Classic 107 studio. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been treated to a number of 107 LIVE! performances utilizing the new in-studio digital Kawaii CA49.

Provided by Academy of Music, the one-stop musical shop provides both musical instruction and serves as a Kawaii dealer in Winnipeg.

Founded in 1990 by Shawn and Donna Coughlin, the company began by providing home instruction on the piano and guitar. They have since opened a brick-and-mortar studio, located at 51 St Anne's Rd, and have expanded instruction to include voice, drums, strings, brass & woodwinds.

Part of the CA, or "Concert Artist," line of Kawaii pianos, the CA49 provides a “Grand Feel Compact” with wooden-key keyboard action and Progressive Harmonic Imaging sound samples.
