Scott Hadath's family made a plea to the public at the Winnipeg Police Service Headquarters this morning, asking people to keep an eye out for the missing 39-year-old.

He was last seen in the Southdale area of Winnipeg on June 5, 2017 and police believe he's driving a 2015 black Mini Cooper with a Manitoba license plate HJB 662.

His mother, Valerie Hadath and his brother Rob Hadath say it's out of the ordinary for Scott to go away for long stretches of time without keeping contact.

"He's a very reliable person and would be home every night and by that I mean his home or our cottage," Valerie said. "He was just always there."

"We love him very much from our very hearts," she continued. "We want to let him know we want him to come back home and to know he is safe is the most important thing to us all."

Rob Hadath says friends and family have been searching exhaustively, adding many people have been sharing information on social media.

He says the family is simply asking the public to be alert and keep their eyes open.

"What we're hoping for is for people who are going to work, or going to get a coffee to be more aware and keep their heads up," Rob said. "If they notice something, let the Winnipeg Police know so they can follow up."

"At this point we're hoping to get more eyes out there and maybe someone will take notice of his vehicle, or maybe they'll see him and can share it with us."

They were not able to identify any places Scott spent a significant amount of time aside from his home or at their cabin in Whiteshell Provincial Park.

Winnipeg Police describe Hadath as a Caucasian male, 5"10 in height, with a heavy build, a thick beard and hazel eyes. There is no clothing description at this time.

There is concern for his well-being and Police are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
