Three people are in hospital after a car slammed into a St. Boniface fire hall.

 

The incident happened at around 4:30 am Friday, near the intersection of Marion Street and Panet Road.

The condition of those injured is believed to be non-life-threatening.

Emergency crews have blocked the eastbound curb lane of Marion St. approaching Panet Rd.

Police have not released any information on what may have caused the accident. Police could also be seen nearby on Archibald Street with a K-9 unit, though it's not clear if the two are related.

The car was flipped onto its side and came to rest in the middle bay door of the hall. Debris from the car could also be seen strewn throughout the parking lot.

Firefighters from fire hall number nine could not make any comments other than saying that everybody inside the fire hall at the time of the collision is ok.

Emergency crews are in the curb lane of eastbound Marion. Traffic is slowed as a curb lane is taken 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
