It's another foggy morning throughout the Red River Valley on Thursday morning.

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the City of Winnipeg as well as a large part of southern and eastern Manitoba.

From Environment Canada:

Areas of dense fog continue across southeastern Manitoba this morning.

The fog is expected to dissipate from west to east through the day on Thursday but may persist for regions near the Ontario border until Friday.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.

Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
