Slightly more than 80 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 in Manitoba.

As of Tuesday morning, there are 31 new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba. 

New cases include:

  • 14 in the Winnipeg health region
  • four in the Nothern health region
  • seven in the Interlake-Eastern health region
  • one in the Prarie Mountian health region
  • five in the Southern Health-Sante Sud health region

This brings the total number of cases to 57,891, with 56,127 recoveries. There are 580 active cases. There are no new COVID-19 deaths being announced Tuesday, leaving the total number of deaths at 1,184.

Manitoba's five-day test positivity rate is 2.7 per cent.

In hospital, there are 81 people, with 22 of those being active cases and the remainder are no longer infectious. There are 14 intensive care patients with five of those being active cases.
