Kevin Peden travels two and a half hours to Winnipeg to play in the Manitoba Pinball League as often as he can.

He's been a member since the league started in February 2017.

"I win the most dedicated award pretty much for anybody in the league because I've got the farthest distance to travel," says Peden.

David Morris

David Morris is the commissioner of the Manitoba Pinball League. He says every city he traveled to seemed to have one and we didn't, so he started one.

"Pinball never really died, a lot of people think it did. It's funny, talking to so many people, they didn't even know that they still make brand new pinball machines, and, yes, they very much do. It's been definitely re-surging over the past 10 years," says Morris.

A pop-up pinball expo is up at Forth on McDermot Ave until April 30th. You can check out the machines whenever Forth is open.

Morris says the league meets once a month for league nights, and holds tournaments as well. To join the Manitoba Pinball League, Morris says you can just show up and play, it's $2 each event and there's no commitment.
