The search continues for a man at the centre of a homicide investigation in rural Manitoba, and police say he may have been in Winnipeg recently.

Eric Wildman, 34, is a suspect in the homicide of Clifford Johnson. Late Tuesday evening the RCMP sent out a release saying Wildman may be driving a grey 2020 Chevy Equinox like the stock photo above. The license plate is KGE 368.

The RCMP also says they believe Wildman was in Winnipeg as recently as Monday.

Wildman is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. Police are asking anyone who sees him or the vehicle to call 911 immediately.

On Tuesday the police searched a property in the R.M. of St. Clements believed to be connected to Wildman.

Johnson has not been seen since he was seen leaving his home in St. Clements on June 7. However, police say they consider his disappearance suspicious, and his Ford Ranger was located about 50 kilometres south of the property that police searched on Tuesday.
