A fall fair will commence at a popular Winnipeg gathering spot.

In a Friday afternoon statement, the Red River Ex is confirming that it will be hosting a Fall Fair, welcoming guests back to walk the grounds. They previously announced a date but were waiting on government approval.

"We’re excited to get Manitobans back to work! The Fall Fair will feature food, local music, family entertainment and a Manitoba midway from Select Shows & Canuck Amusements," they tweet.

This will begin on August 27 and ending on September 6.

The event will be entirely outdoors with access to washroom facilities.

Everyone who attends must be fully vaccinated and have proof of vaccination, excluding children younger than 12. In the comments, the Ex says everyone employed by the Red River Ex for the Fall Fair will be fully vaccinated and wearing masks.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday.
