It's November! Want to know what's in store for the first show of the month? Check here for all the details.

Well, it is almost time to turn our clocks back and enjoy one more hour of sleep! Remember, at 2:00am this Sunday morning we fall back, and us early-morning-risers will definitely appreciate that.

Anyone else a bit nervous about the US Election on Tuesday? It is going to be quite a day and I am sure even here North of the border we will be watching it very closely. Whatever happens, we hope that it will be a peaceful transition to the new government and both sides come to at least some reconciliation and understanding. War, anger, violence and hate is never the answer and has never resulted in anything but more of the same. I say it is time for love, peace and understanding, despite our differences. Amen.

With that in mind, I have programmed 1 hour of music dedicated to "hope" and another of "uplifting classics."

Watch this amazing, historic video for Schubert's Trout Quintet. Wow! Uplifting.

Since it is the first show of the month we will feature composers born in the month of November (Hummel, Sousa, Copland etc...):

so, please join me on a musical journey this weekend noon-6:00pm on The Wide World of Classical Music, brought to you by Cruise World.
