When I think of New York, I think of Jazz. When I think of Chicago, I think of the Blues. As much as I would love to play Muddy Waters, Bessie Smith, John Coltrane and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, I am going to feature jazz and blues inspired classics. Shostakovich, Schulhoff, Ravel, Heifetz, Suesse and many more:

 

 

 

 

The hot days of summer are perfect for taking a cool dip in a lake, stream or river (a clean river that is!), so enjoy an hour of water music (not composed by Handel):
