The losing candidate who is challenging the governing Manitoba Progressive Conservative party's leadership vote in court is facing a challenge herself.

Longtime party member Darren Penner has filed a complaint with Manitoba's elections commissioner alleging Shelly Glover is not following financing rules in her legal challenge.

Penner says Glover's online fundraising website appears to be accepting anonymous donations and donations above the three-thousand-dollar limit for leadership campaigns.

Glover says the complaint is baseless because her legal challenge is not subject to the limits for campaign contributions -- and that the complaint is a sign of further divisiveness within the party.
