Stefano Bollani's 'Joy In Spite Of Everything' is this Month's Classic 107 McNally Robinson Jazz Recording of the Month.

Anyone who's had the pleasure of watching pianist Stefano Bollani in concert, knows that, above all, joy is fundamental to the music he makes.

This month Jazz After 9 host Neil Coligan and McNally Robinson's Andy have chosen pianist Stefano Bollani's newest album on ECM, "Joy In Spite Of Everything".  It features guitarist Bill Frisell, tenor saxophonist Mark Turner, bassist Jesper Bodilsen and drummer Morten Lund.  It's all original compositions, beautifully played making for a compelling listen again and again.
