Find out how you can spend a soupçon of this season singing Mozart's Requiem in one of Winnipeg's most stunning sanctuaries with Winnipeg's first ever summer choir. Missed Sarah Jo's chat with Neil? Watch the video here?

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of visiting the sanctuary of Winnipeg's Knox United Church, this may be just the reason you need. If you're brave enough, you could also sing in it.

Neil Weisensel, co-founder of Winnipeg's Wold Village Music (responsible for the World Village Gospel Choir), has a busy few months ahead. Not only is he conducting the mass choir for the closing ceremonies of the Canada Summer Games at Investor's Group Field on August 13 (which you can register for until Thursday, June 15 HERE), but he's taken on an ambitious passion-project: Mozart's Requiem.

The Requiem is one of the most popular works in the choral repertoire. Weisensel will be rehearsing all interested parties in the glorious sanctuary of Knox United Church (400 Edmonton St.), located right across from Winnipeg's Central Park Tuesday evenings (7-9PM) from June 13th to August 22nd. The performance will take place Friday, August 25th.

Do you want to join him? Well, you can.

To register, you can e-mail worldvillagemusic@gmail.com, call (204) 881-3322, or visit worldvillagemusic.ca/summerchor-winnipeg/ to learn more and register online.

Unfamiliar with the Requiem? A taste of the brilliant music you could be singing from an iconic scene in Milos Forman's Amadeus
