Diana Krall's classic 1996 CD tribute to Nat King Cole entitled All For You is featured this weekend on The Listening Party.

This album is often regarded as Diana Krall in her prime, doing what she does best - playing swinging piano and singing her sultry vocals. Backed by a smiliar trio as Nat King Cole in the 1940's, with only a bass & guitar, Krall covers some of the songs made famous by Cole: Frim Fram Sauce, Hit That Jive Jack, Deed I Do and several others.

Krall really hit her stride with this recording and was on the verge of becoming a world-wide jazz sensation. She would go from playing small clubs and theatres to selling out arenas and larger venues across the world, win multiple Grammy and Juno Awards and record several more gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums. But, in the meantime, All For You still has that small, intimate, smokey jazz club vibe that endeared her to audiences.

Tune in at 10pm for the complete recording on The Listening Party, and enjoy this sample in the meantime.
