The WSO travels to Westminster United Church to celebrate its magnificent Casavant pipe organ with the brilliant young virtuoso Sarah Svendsen. Tune in Wednesday @ midnight following Jazz After 9.
The program will include: an organ concerto by Belgian Joseph Jongen, Camille Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony, and Johannes Brahms’ light-hearted Academic Festival Overture. 
The Westminster Church Organ Series will present Sarah Svendsen in solo recital Sunday, Oct. 2 @ 2:30 pm.
This week on 60 Minutes with the WSO, Alexander Mickelthwate and James Manishen will feature some gorgeous works for organ by Sibelius, Bach and Jongen.
Plus we'll get to hear from guest organist Sarah Svendsen and the co-founder of the Westminster Concert Organ Series, and organist of Westminster Church, Mr. Don Menzies.
