Today we're able to listen to almost any piece of music we want with the touch of a finger. But sometimes it only serves to push music to the background. This is why live music is so important in our lives today.
Maestro Alexander Mickelthwate talks about live music and why it's so important to step away from your headphones to experience the human element of music. Alexander will even share with us his first live concert and the impact it had on him as a young child!
A very young Alexander circa 1980. Awww!
We'll also hear from Canadian pianist Alain Lefevre who'll tell us about his upcoming performance.
