Manitoba Hydro crews are working to restore power to thousands of customers early Thursday morning.
The public utility says that at least 1,600 customers are without power in Garden City.
A number of intersections are without signal lights as a result. Motorists are reminded to treat those intersections as all-way stops.
There is no word on the cause of the problem or an estimated time of restoration.
#mboutage We’re working to get approximately 1,600 customers back on in Garden City as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience. We know it’s frustrating to start your day with no power. https://t.co/31o6kVkhFU pic.twitter.com/02TgYGUpbb
