The Winnipeg Arts Council is putting out a call for nominations for its 2015 awards.

 Now in their ninth year, the Winnipeg Arts Council Awards celebrate the artists, patrons and partnerships that make Winnipeg a centre for cultural achievement.

Classic 107's Luke Thiessen spoke to Program and Arts Development Manager Dominic Lloyd about the awards and what the Arts Council is looking for.

The deadline to make a nomination for this year's awards is April 8.
