Within a week Winnipeggers will have to find alternate places to park as the annual winter parking ban is soon to take effect.
Officially the ban will begin at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16. The city of Winnipeg hasn't mentioned when it will end.
The winter parking ban will be in effect on specific streets each night between 2:00 and 7:00 a.m. so city crews can clear the streets.
People can look for snow route signs on their streets, or download the 'Know Your Zone' app to see exactly which streets have the parking ban to avoid being towed away or fined a $100 ticket.
Drivers are being warned that the winter parking ban is in effect every day, not just when it has freshly snowed.
