The play,  commissioned by PTE,  tells the story of Patricia, a woman of grace and good breeding,  who moves to a grand house in a small town.

She hires Birdy, a woman from the poor end of the same street, as her housekeeper. Polar opposites in personality & circumstances, their uneasy relationship becomes strained when Patricia takes an interest in Birdy’s daughter.

The play is an exploration of how it’s really just the small things that keep us from understanding each other.

Classic 107 got a sneak peak of he show befoe opening night and spoke with actor Barbara Gordon who plays 'Patricia'.
