The Winnipeg Singers present a belated celebration in honour of the province’s sesquicentennial this weekend.

“Manitoba Mosaic: Songs of our Heritage” premieres online Sunday, November 14 at 3 pm and will be available to view for two weeks.

Long hailed as a singing province, the Winnipeg Singers honour some of the many heritages that make up the vibrant and diverse musical community in Manitoba. Under the direction of maestro Yuri Klaz, the belated celebration was set for May 2020, though was postponed due to the pandemic.

This virtual concert features both archival video and new recordings done by COMPASS Digital Media. Composers include Andrew Balfour, Sid Robinovitch, Miroslava Paches, Donald Patriquin and more!
