Ghana and Cuba Pavilions mark a memorable finale for the Classic 107 Cruiser at Folklorama
The Classic 107 Cruiser was thrilled to spend its last night at Folklorama with the Ghana Pavilion and Cuba Pavilion, Friday evening. The Ghana Pavilion was at the Holy Cross Gymnasium, 290 Dubuc Street, while the Cuba Pavilion was held at the Heather Curling Club,120 Youville Street. The Ghana Pavilion had the rich heritage, traditions, and culture of Ghana, and its cultural display had artifacts filled with symbolism and importance. The show captivated the audience through rhythmic music, dynamic dancing, and engaging storytelling. The show featured a reenactment of a royal procession with performers in traditional clothing and jewelry. The Cuba Pavilion had various dancing performances, live music, and a singing performance that interacted with the audience and encouraged audience participation. The cultural display was informative and shared the vast history of Cuba. With over 20 Pavilion destinations visited by the Classic 107 Cruiser this year, it has been an exciting and enlightening experience, and CHVN is looking forward to future years at Folklorama!
