Listen Live

Five years ago today, to the sound of Beethoven, Winnipeg's Classic 107 came into being. And what a ride it's been! Join us throughout the day as we hear from our partners, leaders in Winnipeg's artistic community, and, most importantly, you!

Wednesday, December 5th, marks five years that Classic 107 established itself as Winnipeg’s classical and jazz station.

During that time the station has become the hub of the Manitoba arts and culture scene. Between our daily arts & entertainment reports, online events calendar, and more than 600 interviews and/or live performances, Classic 107 is the mecca for local, national and international talent.  People like: the WSO’s brand new Music Director Daniel Raiskin, MCO conductor Anne Manson, The Winnipeg Singers, Canzona, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s André Lewis, the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Stephen Borys, Camerata Nova and more!

National and international superstars routinely frequent the station. Jazz artists like Ken Peplowski, Denzal Sinclair and Marcus Roberts, violinists James Ehness, Tasmin Little and Jean Lamont , composers Mychael Danna and Christos Hatzis, pianists Angela Hewitt, Jane Coop and Stewart Goodyear, and international conductors Gerard Schwartz, Jun Märkl and Alexander Shelly are counted among guests heard on Classic 107.

Tune in throughout the day for Birthday greetings, interviews with listeners, and special guests in the studio.

Thank you Winnipeg, for five incredible years!
