For Remembrance Day The Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir Presents Lest We Forget: 100 Years of Remembrance 1918-2018. Artistic Director & Conductor Yuri Klaz gave us some insight into the concert program, and you can watch the interview here:

November 11, 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the end of the Great War (“The War to end all Wars”) and the first Remembrance Day. The Phil is thrilled to join with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in honouring the fallen and all those who continue to serve and protect. The centrepiece of this performance will be Mozart’s choral masterpiece, the Requiem in D minor, as well as Taneyev’s powerful and awe-inspiring St. John of Damascus.
